Congressman Frelinghuysen Meets with Five Key Women Business Owners in New Jersey

Morristown, NJ - Argo Navis IT was one of five women owned businesses that met with Congressman Frelinghuysen yesterday. The day long event was sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO). Denise Bridgens, CEO of Argo Navis IT, is a member of NJAWBO and is Vice President of Corporate Relations for the Morris County Chapter of NJAWBO.

The purpose of the meetings was to introduce five established woman owned businesses to Congressman Frelinghuysen and explain to him the unique hurdles that woman owned businesses have to face. All five businesses are successful and are in non-traditional industries for women. Hurdles discussed included overcoming stereotypes that typically male decision makers have of women owned businesses as well as gracefully breaking through the ìold boysí networkî.

For years Congressman Frelinghuysen has been supportive of NJAWBOís efforts in helping women business owners establish and grow their businesses.
